X-ray Diffractometer DRON-8, X-ray Diffractometer DRON-7

The method of controlled directional crystallization on seeds is widely used throughout the world to get high-quality single crystal turbine blades from heat resistant alloys. To determine orientation of seeds and grown blades, one of X-ray diffraction techniques is used, which is successfully fulfilled by X-ray diffractometers DRON-7 and DRON-8 operating in a mode of sorter.

The same technique is used to test orientation of single crystal отливок in engineering industry.

X-ray diffraction method is also widely used for non-destructive testing of residual stress in various parts, devices and mechanisms.
