101 diamonds recovered by the company Tsodilo Resources using the POLUS-M.

Tsodilo Diamond Mining Company finished processing 56 samples of kimberlite ore from the BK16 project in the amount of 925 kg of diamond-containing concentrate, which underwent final finishing on the POLUS-M separator developed by Bourevestnik. As a result of material processing 101 diamonds with a total weight of 18.571 carats were extracted, the largest crystal weighing 1.375 carats.

The POLUS-M portable separator, commissioned by BVSA (Pty) Ltd. at Tsodilo in December 2017, is designed to finish dry diamond-bearing concentrate of -8 +0.5 mm in size with a throughput of up to 100 kg/h (for -8 +5 mm). The separator was designed for geological and exploration works in the field, but it has also found application in the field of industrial enrichment of diamonds at small deposits. Due to its small size and weight, as well as the ability to operate without compressed air and coolant, POLUS-M is a universal unit for processing diamond-containing ore, providing diamond recovery of at least 98%. One of the main users of POLUS-M separators is ALROSA's enrichment plants, which have a total fleet of 21 units of this type.

Tsodilo Resources Limited is an international diamond and metal exploration company operating a number of projects in Botswana and South Africa.
