ALROSA mined a large diamond at the Nyurbinskaya alluvial deposit

 ALROSA, JSC reported the extraction of a crystal weighing 214.65 carats at the Nyurbinskaya placer deposit on July 13, 2016,

The Nyurbinskaya alluvial deposit is located in the immediate vicinity of the Nyurbinskaya pipe's primary diamond deposit, which is the source of diamondiferous material. Since 2003, more than 40 X-ray fluorescent separators designed and manufactured by Bourevestnik Research and Production Enterprise have been delivered and successfully put into operation at the Nyurba Mining and Processing Division for enrichment of diamond-bearing ore.
