Commissioning of the on-stream XRF analyzer AR-35-A

Almalyk, MMC completed the commissioning of an on-stream XRF analyzer AR-35 manufactured by Bourevestnik, NPP in March 2017. The analyzer was installed within the framework of the project «Involvement of off-balance dump ores of Kalmakyr deposit». The peculiarity of this project is a comprehensive replacement of the obsolete analyzer AR-31, which had worked for more than 20 years.

X-ray analyzer AR-35 is designed for continuous round-the-clock X-ray fluorescence analysis of chemical composition of solutions, suspensions and slurries in the flow. The device allows simultaneous determination of concentrations of up to 7 chemical elements in the range from ²⁰Ca to ⁹²U in 15 technological products with a discreteness of once every 15 minutes, with the measurement time not exceeding 40 seconds.
