Supply of multifunctional X-ray diffractometer DRON-8 for «NIPIneftegaz», JSC.

NIPIneftegaz, JSC is a leading research and design organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan engaged in the design of oil and gas fields in the field of geology, drilling, development, production and arrangement, as well as scientific research of rock, formation and wellhead samples of oil, gas, water, various sediments, oil sludge, soil, ground.

Bourevestnik, JSC supplied a multifunctional X-ray diffractometer DRON-8 for NIPIneftegaz, JSC (Aktau, Kazakhstan). At present, after completion of commissioning works, the device is put into operation.

Modern multifunctional X-ray diffractometer DRON-8 with vertical theta-theta goniometer is designed to solve a wide range of problems of X-ray diffraction analysis of phase composition, structural state and orientation of objects of various shapes and sizes.

The basic equipment of the device for NIPIneftegaz, JSC was supplemented with a quick registration system with Mythen2 R 1D detector and sample changer, which significantly increases the productivity of the device by reducing the measurement time and labor intensity of sample preparation.

The main analytical tasks solved by NIPIneftegaz specialists on the DRON-8 diffractometer are qualitative and quantitative analysis of mineral composition of oil and gas bearing rocks, including clay fractions, associated technogenic materials, salt deposits. The specialists of NIPIneftegaz, JSC have undergone a scheduled two-week training program on the territory of IC Bourevestnik JSC in St. Petersburg.
