Automated system of analytical monitoring (ASAM)

Automated system of analytical monitoring (ASAM)  is a complex of technical means with centralized control designed for automatic selection of process products, transportation to the place of analysis, sample flow through the X-ray spectral analyzer and determination of the elemental composition of the sample. The analysis results are transmitted to the plant's process control system.

The ASAM system is based on high-precision AR-35 and ARO analyzers, which implement a wave-dispersion method for measuring the mass fraction of chemical elements from sulfur (S) to uranium (U).

Additionally, dividers can be integrated into the sample delivery system to send the sample to the dewatering device and prepare the samples for independent measurement in the laboratory.

  • The possibility of on accurate real-time measurements
  • Improving the efficiency of process control
  • Integration into in the plant control system
  • Based on high-precision WDXRF analyzers

Installation in a container

The elements of automated system of analytical monitoring (ASAM) can be installed in the block container in the required configuration:

- lighting equipment;
- ventilation system;
- fire extinguishing system;
- panel equipment;
- fire alarm system.

If there are requirements for fire safety and explosion protection, a special container can be selected.

Multiplexer

It is intended for representative allocation of control pulp samples and pulp supply to the analyzer synchronously with the algorithm of its operation.

Also, multiplexers is intended for switching the flow of the analyzed sample between a flow analyzer and a composite sample filtering device. During sampling for analysis, its representativeness and stabilization of physical parameters are ensured, and the set level of sample material in the averaging tank is maintained. Also, when a sample is accumulated in an averaging tank, a defoaming system is used to ensure uniformity of samples for foam products. Unused material is drained through a drainage outlet to the sample return devices in the process.

The multiplexer is a secondary sampling device with the possibility of autonomous operation. The multiplexer is capable of providing composite (balanced) Sampling without reference to the analyzer operation.

Composite sample filtering

It is intended for the accumulation of composite (balance) sample material from the multiplexer, which is automatically dehydrated. The sample is dehydrated by drawing free water from the sample volume through a paper filter. During the operation of the filtration device, a ready-made solid sample is formed on a paper filter, which is then transferred to the quality control service for subsequent chemical analysis.

Calibration sampling device

It is intended for the selection of representative liquid samples for the purposes of calibration and control of the analysis results.

The sampling work is carried out according to a pre-established program that determines the frequency, duration and number of cut-offs, which are set through the analyzer software. The return of samples to the technological process that have been analyzed for each individual product can be carried out separately.

The sampler

It is selected according to the initial data of the sampling point.

It is possible to integrate the system with an existing sampling system.
