On-stream XRF Single-cell Analyzer ARO

The ARO analyzer provides automatic measurement and determination of concentrations of chemical elements from sulfur (S) to uranium (U) when equipped with appropriate spectrometric channels. Analyzed products: pulp, solutions. The device consists of a two-section spectrometric rack which contains a section with a flow cell and a measuring chamber with an X-ray tube. The housing reliably protects personnel from radiation exposure, as well as the device elements from environmental influences.

The ARO analyzer can be installed near the sampling point in the production room. The ARO analyzer can be included in the project of an automated system of analytical monitoring (ASAM) with sampling equipment and multiplexer.

  • High expressiveness and accuracy of analysis
  • Low detection limit
  • Automatic film change on the cell
  • Compact and reliable design
  • Degree of protection of the analyzer design - IP 56
  • Compatible with systems of automated sampling
  • May be exempt from radiation control
  • The developed software package of automated workstations ("Operator", "Adjuster", "Analyst") performs the necessary functions for processing and presenting analysis results, organizing data archive storage, and monitoring the system status

    Options

    Semiconductor detector SSD
    Composite sample filtering
    Capital-purpose spare parts
    Multiplexer
    Semiconductor detector SSD

    A semiconductor detector can be installed to expand the analytical capabilities of the analyzer:

    • to visualize the overview spectrum for a detailed study of the composition of products;

    • expanding the number of elements to analyze.

    Composite sample filtering

    It is intended for the accumulation of composite (balance) sample material from the multiplexer, which is automatically dehydrated. The sample is dehydrated by drawing free water from the sample volume through a paper filter. During the operation of the filtration device, a ready-made solid sample is formed on a paper filter, which is then transferred to the quality control service for subsequent chemical analysis.

    Capital-purpose spare parts

    An optional capital spares parts can be included:

    • high voltage power supply;
    • cooling system;
    • detection unit;
    • registration unit.

    Multiplexer

    It is intended for representative allocation of control pulp samples and pulp supply to the analyzer synchronously with the algorithm of its operation.

    Also, multiplexers is intended for switching the flow of the analyzed sample between a flow analyzer and a composite sample filtering device. During sampling for analysis, its representativeness and stabilization of physical parameters are ensured, and the set level of sample material in the averaging tank is maintained. Also, when a sample is accumulated in an averaging tank, a defoaming system is used to ensure uniformity of samples for foam products. Unused material is drained through a drainage outlet to the sample return devices in the process.

    The multiplexer is a secondary sampling device with the possibility of autonomous operation. The multiplexer is capable of providing composite (balanced) Sampling without reference to the analyzer operation.
